Leafs Buy-Out Grabovski

The Toronto Maple Leafs have more gaping holes in their rooster now.  The Leafs bought-out 29 year old Mikhail Grabovski today, although Grabovski didn't have many points with the Leafs this year, he played great for them.  It seems the reason for buying him out was the monster contract given to him by former General Manager of the Leafs Brian Burke.

A 5 year $5.5 million dollar contract and 16 points in 48 games will get you bought out, but normally teams will give it a year or two and not buy someone out in just the starting of the second year.

The FreeAgentFrenzy is tomorrow and the leafs need to fill the third line, they have 12 players signed and  just over 24.5 million in cap space.
