Free-Agent Frenzy

The Free-Agent market began yesterday, and NHL teams spent over $350 million dollars in contracts.  Players like Mike Ribeiro, Jerome Iginla, and David Clarkson all said goodbye to their previous teams and signed with new ones.  Daniel Alfredsson left his career team Ottawa to Join Detroit, and than Ottawa traded Jakub Silfverberg and a first round draft pick to the Anaheim Ducks for Bobby Ryan.  The Winnipeg Jets aquired Devin Setaguchi from the Minnesota Wild in exchange for a second round draft pick, in this years NHL draft.
