Flyers Sign Lecavalier

The Philadelphia Flyers have signed forward Vincent Lecavalier. as first reported by Darran Drager, it is a contract for 5 years valued at 4.5$ per year.  The flyers are over the salary-cap again ($318,522), this time they could have avoided it. The Flyers already bought out Ilya Bryzgalov (in the second year of his nine year contract), and forward Danielle Briere.  Adding another center to the mix makes it difficult to test out rookie Centers Brayden Schenn, Sean Couturier, and Scott Laughton.  The flyers also need another goalie, adding another goalie in Free-Agency will make them even higher above the maximum salary-cap.
The Flyers need to make a trade now, and when they make one they should trade for a goalie to either back-up Mason, or start for the Flyers.
